Silicone Training Cup for Learning to Drink from an Open Cup
5.0$12.99
Open-cup drinking is a skill, and hard cups make it a hazard. Feeding specialists encourage open-cup practice from 6 months, but rigid cups crack, clank on teeth, and soak everything when tipped.

Good quality and well designed products
We have spoons, plates and cup. Our baby likes to use the toddler spoons as teether toy and the longer baby spoons are convenient for feeding small portions. I love the trainer cups as I don’t have to worry about my baby hurting her gums as it is made of silicone. It is nice that the plate is microwave safe. My package had gone missing so I contacted the company and their customer service was exceptional! So overall, I am a satisfied and happy customer and will recommend this company.

My baby LOVES this feeding set
Not only do I love the safe, easy to prepare and clean silicone steam bowl and utensils, but my baby loves the spoon! The shape is easy for her to grasp and the soft silicone is gentle on her mouth.

Non toxic and holding up to dishwasher!
Great little non toxic cups for the kids! We have washed in dishwasher several times so far and they still look great.

Finally neutral colors for my toddler!
Great colors! I don’t want everything neon pink in my house just because I have a kid. I search and search for muted neutral colors and these were perfect. They have a great texture too not slippery when wet. Easy to clean. I don’t know if they are microwaveable or not but I recommend.

Perfect starter cups
A healthy safe and dependable product! This cups are cute and the perfect size for my baby to grab. They have a non-slip surface that helps her grasp the cup. They dont hold doors, easy to clean, stack inside one another nicely. Great buy!

Best Baby Spoons, Period.
These spoons are amazing, they're soft and flexible so cleaning any bit of mess off of my son's little lips and cheeks is a cinch and can be done in just one swoop of the spoon! I also love that they double as a safe teether since my baby wants to grab and chew anything that comes in close contact to his mouth. We actually have 6 of these nifty spoons because I like making sure that we always have a clean one available (as a first time mom, I would grab a new spoon every time our son dropped one on the floor - he's 9 months old now so luckily I've since grown out of that paranoia as long as we're at home lol). We have the long and shorter version of this spoon and prefer the shorter - personally, I find it easier to feed when there's less length for the baby to try to grab. Also, since the spoons are very flexible and wiggly, we're more likely to accidentally make a mess with the longer stemmed spoons. Regardless, I do highly recommend this product!! The best on the market without a doubt!

Great and safe open cup
Upon advice from my doctor, I was told to get our toddler an open cup for drinking. I already had the Olababy silicon spoon, so I decided to try their new open cup. Like all of their products, the open cup is made from food grade silicon (which I like because it's very easy to clean) and safe. The cup is weighted at the bottom so it doesn't fall over easy. So far my toddler is using it so it's working out to me!

Best training cup
My little guy love his training cup. He feels like such a big boy. The cup is perfectly designed the bottom of the cup is weighted so it's less likely to tip over. It has measurements on the side so I know exactly how much I'm giving him. Its easy for him to hold and maneuver unlike other cups. I highly recommend this cup. Great for snacks or liquids.

How it works
This cup is sized for a baby's two-hand hold, with a soft rim that's kind to gums and a weighted base that resists tipping. The translucent body lets babies see liquid move as they sip, cause and effect they can watch.
Why it works: There is no spout and no valve, so there is no habit to unlearn later. It is the same open-rim drinking your baby will do at the table for the rest of their life.

Questions parents ask
What age is it made for?
Made for 6 to 12 months and 12 months and up.
What comes in the box?
1 training cup.
How do I clean it?
Dishwasher safe (top rack).
What is it made of?
100% high-purity food-grade silicone: BPA, PVC, lead, and phthalate free. Designed in Portland, Oregon.
How big is it?
It weighs 6 oz.
When should my baby start using an open cup or straw?
Pediatric feeding specialists encourage supervised open-cup and straw practice from around 6 months, ahead of weaning off the bottle by 12 to 18 months.
Is the straw safe for new teeth?
The straws are soft food-grade silicone: chew-friendly and gentle on gums and new teeth. Replacement straws are available separately.
Is this a spill proof sippy cup?
No, and that is on purpose. Instead of a spouted sippy cup, Olababy makes open training cups with stable bases that resist tipping, because supervised open-cup practice builds real drinking skills. If you want protection on the go, the Training Cup with Lid + Straw snaps a lid over the same cup for spill-resistant straw drinking.
When should my baby transition from bottle to cup?
Pediatric feeding specialists suggest introducing a cup around 6 months, alongside the bottle, with the goal of weaning off the bottle by 12 to 18 months. Starting cup practice early with small, supervised sips makes that transition gradual instead of a battle.
Is a silicone sippy cup better than plastic?
We think so. Our cups are 100% food-grade silicone: free of BPA, PVC, lead, and phthalates, and tested to FDA food-contact standards. The soft rim is gentle on gums and new teeth, the material will not crack when a cup is tipped or thrown, and it goes in the dishwasher (top rack) or a steam sterilizer.
Is this safe for my baby?
Yes. Olababy feeding products are made from 100% high-purity food-grade silicone with no fillers, free of BPA, PVC, lead, and phthalates, and tested to FDA food-contact standards.
How do I clean and sterilize it?
Silicone products are dishwasher safe (top rack) and can be sterilized in boiling water or a steam sterilizer. Air-dry fully before storing.
What if it does not work for us?
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery (see our return policy for details). US shipping is free on orders over $49.

Why Olababy

Olababy has designed in Portland, Oregon since 2015, with parents testing the things their own children eat from.
