Replacement parts, and keeping gear in service
Straws, nipples, spouts, lids and pads. These are the pieces that wear out, get chewed through, or vanish into a dishwasher basket, and every one of them is sold on its own so a cup or a bottle does not have to be replaced because one part is missing. Sizes are specific: a part is made for a named piece and the product page says which.
How do I know which straw or lid fits my cup?
Match it by the cup, not by the look. The 5oz training cup takes a snap on lid, the 11oz tumbler takes a press seal lid, and the two are not interchangeable even though both are straw cups. Each replacement part page names the pieces it fits. If a part is not listed for your cup, it is not the right one.
When should a silicone part be replaced?
Replace a nipple, straw or spout when it has a tear, a split at the base, a hole that has widened, or a permanent change in shape after washing. Discolouration on its own is usually staining from food and is not a reason to bin it. Anything a baby chews on deserves a look every few weeks.
